"For it's 34th edition, the Jazz festival of Vannes will take place in Vannes from the 22th of july 2013 to the 27th. Jazz in Vannes is an oppotunity to host many artists in the heart of the city and its districts
During a whole week, passionates and amateurs could find themselves during the day , and the night to live at the rythme of the jazz.
Like every year, opening of the festival will start with the traditional free night in the right side of the marina, with this year at the top of the bill, Hugh Masekela.
Then, will come national springboards in the day (July 24th, 25th 26th, accessible for free to the public of the marina).
This edition offer new free gatherings : A music show, which take place in the heart of the Limur Hotel from monday to friday at 4pm will offer in preview the top of the bills of the Limur night (under reservation at : (+33)(0)2 97 01 62 26).
A Jazz village which take place in the marina will offer every night at 6.30pm a new free concert.
Finally, nights of Limur will welcome among others Wayne Shorter, Hermeto Pascoal & Grupo, Glenn Ferris « Triple trio », Cécile McLorin, Ingrid et Christine Jensen, The Amazing Keystone Big Band…many artists that will captivate amateurs and passionates of Jazz music.
