Port Haliguen - Quiberon

Port Haliguen is a very popular stopover, because it is ideally located at the entry to Quiberon Bay. It is only 3 miles from the Teignouse, 12 from Belle-Île, 9 from Le Crouesty, 7 from La Trinité. The centre of Quiberon has lots of shops and is just 10 minutes’ walk from the harbour.

The marina could not be extended from the small fishing harbour where a fleet of sardine fishing boats and coastal schooners used to put into port. The little harbour dating back to 1840 has kept all its charm and the exhibitions at the lighthouse keeper’s house at the foot of the old lighthouse, from April to September, are fascinating. Today the development of two new basins reclaimed from the sea has turned Port Haliguen into a major site for a stopover in Morbihan.
